C 2 MEDICAL BOARD.
RE-EXAMINATION OF 4470 MEN. (Special to the Star.) ! WELLINGTON, Aug. 1. Ihe special Medical Board set up to re-examine men who had been classed C 2 is at work in the Auckland district, and will gradually travel south. Its itinerary has been fixed up till November 25, when it is proposed to examine the last of the C 2 men at Gore and Invercargill. Altogether 4470 reexaminations have been ordered. The system adopted gives every man classed Cl a period of 28 clear days before entering camp. He will accompany the ! batch leaving nearest the date 28* days I after examination. Similarly every ! man classed Fit A will be ordered to I proceed to camp with the draft from ,' his district leaving after 28 clear days | from the date of the examination. Ap- ! plicants are not to be sent forward ; until their appeals have been disposed of. The itinerary includes the following fixtures: Hawera and New Plymouth, Wednesday, August 28, to Monday, Sept. 2. The approximate number for examination is 250.
