m (From Our Own Correspondent.) HALL SOCIAL. The usual fortnightly social Ava-s held on Friday last and proved to be one of the most .successful of the series, a feature of the eA-cning being the large number of visitors present from outside districts, and their appreciation of an enjoyable evening is very gratifying to " the committee. Good music was supplied bv }!iss Gardiner, and extras were plaved by the Misses Harrison, L. Sharp. Mrs C'.ilder, and Mr Coburn. Messrs L. Jurd and G. Harrison carried out the duties of M.C.'s. The ladies provided an excellent supper.
