SYDNEY, July 31. An exchange of views is proceeding between employers and employees in connection Avith the review by the Board of Trade of the question'of tlie cost of living. Tbe emolovccs contend that the. weekly standard of £2 los 6d for a man with a wife and two children, fixed in 1916, is now too low, and should be raised to £'3 -Is Id. Tlie employers favor the retention of tlie 1916 standard.—Press Association.
