An English-Speaking Union has been recently formed to promote comradeship between the peoples of the British Empire and the United States. It is believed that peace and progress will be advanced by tJtie union of Eng-lish-speaking democracies.

The executive includes Lord Bryce, Mr Churchill, the Archbishop of York and many notables. Mr Massey has been elected a vice-pfesident. It is proposed to establish headquarters in London, New York and each capital of tho overseas dominions.— Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
