Wireless German official: We stormed Vlengelhcek Hill, north-east of Bailleul, and repulsed attacks west of Bailleul. We frustrated strong advances north-west of Bethune.

General yon der Goltz's troops took the railway junctions of Syvinge and Ruehimaeki, and established communications with the Finnish Army northward of Lahti. We reached Simferopol, in the Crimea.'
