PASSENGER SLIGHTLY INJURE©
BY TELEGRAPH—PRESS ASSOCIATION.
WELLINGTON, Oct. 27. Two shots were fired at the expre*^ from Auckland, on Thursday night when approaching Franktoc. Th c driver thought a stone had been thrown, but the small hole perforated in the glass showed that it had been made by a bullet. One passenger had a finger grazed and a bullet mark was also found on another carriage. An enquiry is being made, but the probable explanation, it i& thought, will be that it was the work of mischievous boys.
