SOLDIERS' DEPENDENTS.
It has been determined, Sir Joseph Ward announced in his Statement, to make provision for granting additional allowances to dependents of soldiers, and the House will be asked to amend the war pensions legislation this session. The necessary expenditure, the amount of which he was not in a position to sta,te at present, will be provided for in the supplementary estimates.
