WAR EXPENDITURE.
LONDON, Aug. 2. In the House of Commons, 'Mr Bonsr i. .Law said German official statements give the expenditure from Fe'frruary to May at £150,000,000 monthly, compared with £100,000.000 in 1916. excluding civil expenditure and loans to her Allies. France was spending; £137,000,000 monthly. Britain's expenditure for 112 -days of the present financial year was £6,795,000 daily.
