Correspondence and matters relating to the Editorial or News Department to The Editor. When advertisements are transmitt^.d by telephone, especially from various parts of the district outside Havera, such messages should be confirmed by letter. Great care will be taken to ensure accuracy in the publication of notices received by telephone, but necessarily there is a'risk of error, for which the management cannot be held solely rosponsible. It is particularly desired that communications for publication shall not be addressed to members of the staff p6tt eonally, as such a course is apt to causa delay. The Editor is at all times glad to receive correspondence giving news or expressing opinions en public matters. When "Correspondence" or Articles are signed with the writer's name or initials, or with a pseudonym, or are marked "Communicated," the Star must not necessarily be held in agreement with the views therein expressed or with the mode of expression.
