"THE ORANGE DANDIES."
"The Orange Dandies," a bright little company of entertainers, gave a de- j Hghtful performance in the Opera House last evening before a fairly large and appreciative audience. Concerted singing, and smart, refined humor, were features of a capital programme, and each member of the company was ac- i corded a cordial reception. Encores ' were 'the order o? the evening. Mr j John Welby, the bass soloist, who sang ' with feeling and expression, was warm- ! ly applauded for each of his numbers. } The lady soloists, Miss Manning (soprano) and Miss Bradford (who possesses a rich contralto voice) each sang very pleasingly, and were frequently recalled. Miss Ivy Davis, the soubrotte, : was good, and Messrs Graham, Pace and Ford, comedians, provided the humorous element, and were enthusiastically 1 received. Mr Philip Hardman, who was at the piano, played the accompani- i ments with good taste. j
