"THE PLOW GIRL" AND "THE

WOMAN NEXT DOOR."

The double star programme to-night will include Famous Players Paramount production "The Plow Girl," with Mai Murray, a talented and charming young actress, in the principal part. The story tells of a delicate girl forced to work in the fields and sold as a slave by John Varley. She is rescued from an awful fate by a young farmer, Stcddard, and eventually becomes an heiress and finds great happiness. The second star feature -is called "The Woman Next Door," starring the popular actress Irene Fen wick. The costumes, good taste and artistic discernment revealed in this George Kleine production in the matter of settings are observable throughout. The interior of the Whittier home, of Jenny Gay's dressing rooms at the theatre and of her apartments, and of the men's club, etc., are all very fine. Other pictures will be "Tramp' Tramp" (comedy) and an interesting Paramount travelogue. BEAUTY COMPETITION. The Beauty Competition for girls between the ages, of five and ten will commence on Saturday night, when, the audience will have an opportunity of judging the prettiest child of the thirty photos that will be shown. The competition can be won by merit only.
