THE FRANKTON MYSTERY
BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION
HAMILTON, July 10. Further developments in regard to the mysterious affair at Frankton on Sunday, when a returned soldier named Thomas Henderson, of Onehunga, was found in an outhouse suffering from a serious wound in the side, show that Henderson purchased a ticket for Auckland at Palmerston North on Saturday. He left the train on arrival at Frankton Junction early on Sunday morning, and was subsequently seen wandering about in a daaed condition. ■ Enquiries tend to show that the wound was inflicted in Palmerston, and the police here are now in communication with that place. Hen. derson's condition is very grave.
