THE LONDON RAIDERS

- LONDON, July 8. Experts are of opinion that the raiders were twin-engined Gotha biplanes, being comparatively slow, even when they come with a brisk wind, and correspondingly slow in returning; hence it is said that .they were more daring and flew at a much lower height than in previous raids. Members of Parliament favor reprisals. It is understood that the Government will reconsider its attitude. Mr Lloyd George summoned the experts after the raid. A German official report says* Our squadron yesterday freely bombarded the London docks, harbor works, and warehouses, fires and explosions being ; observed. One English seaplane was ( shot down. We also bombed Margate. j Our aeroplanes returned, except one, which compulsorily descended into the eea.
