Johnson ss, — Jones 5s 6d, A. Wills ss. Mr George Glenn, of Wanganui, became the possessor of this picture as the highest bidder, viz., £15. In the issue of Friday it Avas inadvertently stated that this picture Avas heing sold on behalf of the Overseas Tobacco Fund. The proceeds, however, go to the Dominion Newspaper Fund, otherwise the New Zealand Expeditionary Force Gift Tobacco Fund, an organisation that Avas formed to take advantage of Messrs W. D. and H. 0. AVills', Bristol, offer to supply Three Castle Cigarettes and Capstan Tobacco to the Noav Zealand troops at the front, at practically cost price.
