CANADIAN CONSCRIPTION BILL AMENDED.
(Recehed July 9, 9.15 a.m.) OTTAWA, July 8. The Conscription Bill was amended in committee to provide that young married men shall be called out before unmarried men of over 35 years ot age The Government stated that men from the ages of 18 to 35 were found to perform the best military service.
