(Reuter Message.) (Received July 9, 1.55 p.m.) SHANGHAI, July 8. i Ex-Premier Tuan-eh-yui reporfts that he routed J-he monarchists on Friday near Langfang. The Republicans advanced ten miles toward Pekin, pursuing the enemy. Li-yuan-hung, the ex-President, gave Tuan-ch-yui the President's seal for conveyance to Fing-kuao-chang, who will assume the acting-Presidency in the form of a Provisional Government at Nanking.
