Private G. H. Bate, writing from France on March 5, states that a gift parcel he had received came from Mesdames JJarmby and Corrigan. He had also received a parcel from the Countess of Liverpool's Fund, containing a plum pudding and tins of milk, which he and his comrades enjoyed very much. He wishes to convey his very sincere thanks to the donors in each, case.
