It was decided that the County Council be informed of the Board's practice in this matter. Children and War Service.—The National Efficiency Board wrote suggesting that the school holidays in winter be vrediiced by four weeks and this time added to the summer holidays so as to enable boys of about 14 years of age being employed in farm work.
