At Burnside there was a good proportion of heavy prime bullocks, which sold at from £16 to £20 3 extra to £25 medium to light £13 10s to £15, prime cows and heifers £14 to £18, medium £11 10s to £13. Fat Sheep—About 3000 were penned, I including a fair proportion of extra prime. Store wethers did not command the usual extreme prices, and' prices declined by 2s 6d. Prime wethers 38s to 455, extra 775, prime ewea 40s. Lambs—About 1500 were penned, j The quality was good. There were a | few pens of extra prime. Prime 25s to 295, extra 35s 3d. Pigs—The prices for fats and stores showed a decline on late rates.
