PARLIAMENT AND THE HUPMOBILE. In the recent Parliamentary tour of the northern districts Hupmobiles distinguished themselves for reliability and comfort. They took every obstacle, and on the whole tour not one* stoppage was recorded through Huppfailure. Between Herekino and Broadwood was a very bad piece of road, and here a Hupp was the only one or" the 23 cars to get through the mud onits own power. All the other 7nnke». had to be assisted by twenty to thirty , members of the party with the aid of ropes. This is further proof of thesuperiority of the Hupp engine—known ,is the "lugging type." As a Hupp^ handbook says, it is "designed for hard and heavy road work—mud and 6an<!F pulling. 'Built for touring use." See a Hupmobile, £430 complete, at mainport*. Local Ascents: Farmers' Coor>.
