There was a record attendance, fully 500 being present. MrPorntt, of Messrs Arhanam and Williams, Ltd., wielded the hammer ComCetition for the various allotments was , particularly spirited, and the prices; realised set a fresh record for the disi tndt. In all 547 acres were submitted j and were disposed of under the ham--mer with the .exception of 139 acres. 7™ aggregate price realised was £31,.----400, which averages out at £77 per acre.
