PARIS, May 23. M. Ribot (Prime Minister)., speaking in the Chamber of Deputies, announced ■that lie had received a telegram from j the Russian Government. expressing j complete solidarity with the cause of i -the Allies, and declaring that Russia ] was not ungrateful and would not forget France's efforts to contain the enemy forces, whereby Russia had been enabled to organise herself, and adding that it would be a crime to-day i*o talk of .a separate peace. M. Ribot explained that France did not wish | for a policy of annexation, and even conceded a nationality policy to her enemies, but insisted on Franoe's right to claim compensation for the wrongs _uffered in Northern France, Serbia, Roumania, and elsewhere. France desired the restitution of her stolen pro--yinces, but did not wish to impose any penalty on Germany. COPENHAGEN, May 23. The Vossiche Zeitung says Russia ■will soon accept a German peace. Therefore it is important the Govern--ment shall express clearly the peace conditions. The offer to Russia includes financial help after the war. LONDON, May 23. The Daily Telegraph's Petrograd (Correspondent states that M. Terescheriko (Foreign Minister), Prince Lvoff (Premier), M r Kerenski (Minister of War), and M. Seretelli will constitute the Committee on Foreign Affairs and settle all questions of foreign policy and the appointment of ambas_sadors. M. Sarninoff's London appointment "has been cancelled.
