Accused of decapitating a white girl after an assault at New Orleans, Parsons, a negro, was forcibly taken from the sheriff's custody and burned at the stake at Pottscampa, Missouri. Parsons implicated two other negroes, one deaf and dumb, who was discovered and also burned. The mob is seeking the third. Women and girls watched the lynching.
