PRISONERS IN TURKEY.
EFFORTS TO OBTAIN IMPROVED CONDITIONS.
(Times Service.) (Received Feb. 13, 10.35 a.m.) LONDON, Feb. 12. In the House of Commons Mr Hope, on behalf of the Government, said that Turkey had repeatedly refused to allow the American Ambassador to visit camps in which British prisoners were interned. The Government believed that conditions for officers were tolerable, but other conditions were deplorable, and they were making efforts to obtain improvement. ■
