NEW ZEALAND RECIPIENTS

His Excellency the Governor has received a telegram from the Secretary of State for the Colonies announcing that his Majesty has been graciously pleased to confer the following New Year honors : — Most Honorable Order of the Bath (X.C.8.) the Hon. Colonel James Allen. M.P., Minister of Defence. Companion of the Bath (C.8.), Colonel Robert Logan, A,D.C, administrator at Samoa Knight Bachelor, His Honor Mr Justice J. E. Denniston, Judge of the Supreme Court of New Zealand. Most Distinguished Order of St. Michael ancVSt: George (C.M.G.), Hon. Colonel W. E. Collins, M.8., M.R.C.S.. member of the Legislative Council of New Zealand*1. Further, his Majesty has conferred a brevet lieutenant-colonelcy upon Major C. R. McDonald. Royal Warwickshire Regiment, chief infantry instructor of the Dominion forces,.
