METRO PICTURE
A most interesting' story with many striking scenes and much good acting is shown on the film in the Metro production "Always in the \Way." This is picturisation of a song classic in which.'Mary Miles Winter, a young actress whose fame is said to rival Mary Piekford, pourtrays the daughter of a rich lawyer whose wife is dead and who is worried by the child until he marries again" , The stepmother treats the girl badly,, and in- order to secure her fortune persuades a missionary to take her to Africa. After many strange adyentures she gets back to New York, and, assisted by a young prospector who is in love1 with her, is restored to her father, and .all ends happily.
