THURSDAY, OCTOBER 26
The Government Meteorologist telegraphed to-day as follows:—The indications are for moderate to strong southerly winds, veering west to north; weather cloudy to overcast at times; the barometer has a rising tendency, but will fall again after about 20 hours; tides good: considerable swell.
