KILLED AT RAILWAY CROSSING
(BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION). CHRISTCHURCH, Oct. 26. James Daniels, a miner, aged 40, a resident of Kaitangata, who has been living at Lyttelton for the past few weeks, was hit by a truck of timber at a railway crossing this1 morning, and his head got under the wheels. He was shockingly mangled and killed instantly.
