A"German commimique states: We "bloodily repulsed strong .English attacks between Le Sars and Les Boeufs. The French penetrated only our first line north-east of Sailly. We penetrated Ambras wood north of Chaulnes, but we withdrew from the east and north part of the wood voluntarily. We bl-ought down twenty-two enemy aviators.
We captured 560 Roumanians at Prefle.nl Pass. -We crossed far beyond tha railway in the Dobrudia east* of Nurfatlar. Onr left wing is approaching Ce.rnavoda. The enemy was forced to assume the defensive on the Cerna salient. '
