A French communique states: We ■captured the brow of a hill west of Sailly-Saillisel and captured a post between the Avre and the Oise7~ Enemy aviators bombed Luneville. We dropped forty-two hundred kilogrammes of projectiles on furnaces north of Metz at railway stations at Thionville," Mezieres-les-Mez, Longwy and M.etzsablons. Wealso bombed a munitions depot, factories at Rombach and the railway station at Mars-la-Tour.
