(From Our Own Correspondent.) ' The pay-out of the Elthain Dairy Company for the month of September, together with a bonus for last season, amounts to about £24,000. : The New Zealand Farmers' Co-opera-tive Bacon and Meat Preserving Company had a very successful week in the number of pigs received. At present the -Eltham works .are being enr I larged, and until they are completed the pigs will b» sent to Wellington. Thel receiving, agents for. the whole district are: Messrs J.^W. Carter, J.1 W. : Burke, and T, Phillips. Mr Carter is in charge, of tiie Eltham centre. Mr C. Baker 'has sold" the building and joinery businesslcarried on by him for 'many yeans to Mr F. Ri Pepperell, New Plymouth.- , r . '
