At Eakaramea on Monday we had a good yarding, of cattle, and a very, good sale resulted. Cows and calces fetched £9 13s to £11 10s, fat cows £10 10s to' £13 13s, forward cows £8 lqs to £10, stores £7.7s to £8 15s, dairy bulls 12gns to 14gns, yearling steers £5 10s 6d to £6, small £3 to £3 10s, yearling heifers £3 6s to £3 12s, dairy cows £13 to £20/ 3-year springing heifers. £12 5s to- £16 ss, 2-year-old £9 to £11; sheep, forward ewes 32s 69, hoggets 27s 7d.. At Eltham oh Wednesday we had a large yarding of cattle, and report the under-mentioned prices: —Forward cows, =£9. to £10 Is, -store cows £7 Is to £8 17s, cows and. calves, small, £7 2s to £8 17s 6d, yearling heifers £4 15s to £5 10s, dairy bulls, yearlings £6 10s to £9 ss, 2-year-old bulls £10 to £15, 3-year-old springing heifers £10 2s 6d to £13 15s, 2-year-old springing heifers £9 to £10 10s.

At, Hawera on Friday, S2oth inst., we held our annual bull fair, and report a good sale, and the following prices were realised: 2ryear Shorthorn bulls lofgris to ISgns, Holsteins, 2year ip^ansNto ISffns, yearling Shorthorns IH-gns to 12gns, 2-year Jersey bulls 12jgns to 16|gn's, ordinary dairy buls 10 to. 14gns.
