The Government Meteorologist telegraphed to-day as follows:—The indications are for variable and strong breezes, . south-east prevailing; the weather appears likely to b.e cloudy and unsettled j rain probable; .barometer unsteady, wnu a.rising tendency, soon; tides good; sea moderate.
