BOROUGH COUNCIL ACTION
At the meeting of; the Hawera Borough ,Council last night the following recommendation 'was received from the Library Committee of the Council: "That this committee recommends the Council to make application, to the Carnegie^-Trust for funds to establish a 'Carnegie Public Library' in Hawera;"
The recommendation was agreed to
