' -■ CHRISTCHIERCH, Oct. 9. The Corinna returned to Lyttelton /early to-day, having searched the coast near. Akaroa in the night for signs of the Poh&rua, which was supposed to h.ave gone ashore. The captain reported that fishermen told him* the Poherua got off. with the tide at 1 p.ih., and resumed her voyage from Dunedin to Greymouth, apparently undamaged. AUCKLAND, Oct v 9. A Suva cable reports that the Whangape, which Avas recently reported agroimdj has left for Auckland.
