An attractive programme was presented last evening, when another of the great. Metro pictures, "The High Road," was shown.,. It-was- a very fine specimen of pLoto-play art. Tne leading character is taken by the celebrated actress ;Valli yValli, who as the heroine gives a fine pourtrayal of the^ part. The story, which, has already been told, quickly commended itself to the audience, who expressed their .appreciation by hearty applause. There are many thrilling incidents and a dramatic"' con elusion, -ill "the supporting nlms were good. The programme will be repeated to-night.
