Society insert entries for Eltham sale on Wednesday; also entries (150) for Dominion Horse Bazaar sale on Saturday. Dairy farmers requiring high-class Jersey bulls are reminded of the bull fair to be held by Mr Newton King at his Waiwakaiho yards on Monday next, October 9. In addition to Messrs H. B. Lepper and H. Spence arid other local breeders,. Mr C. F. Goulter, of Blenheim, has ; bulls catalogued, which have been wintered in Taranaki and are in good condition." They are nearly all by the imported bulls Soumise Majesty and Soumise Jack. Mr Goulter's stock have proved themselves well in the past, and should evoke good competition. Newton King inserts entries for Inglewood sale on Wednesday* Stratford bull fair will be held on Friday. Eltham County Council invites tenders for sunply and delivery of boulders and sand. Patriotic dance in aid of Christmas Comfort Fund, Matatm Hall, October 12. At the Waiwakaiho bull fail' on Mon■day next, Mr Newton King will be offering some nice quality Holstein bulls. ; Several two-year-old pedigree animals are entered by Mr A. Hardld Street from his Bell Block stud farm, and several other local breeders will be represented by grade Holstein bulls. Mr j Hugh Purdie has entered three young I Jersey bulls, whose dams have, in semiofficial tests, shown. great butter-fat figures.
