Bubjeet to necessary alteration mails close at the Post Offics as under :— For Wellington and South daily, at, 0 a.m., 11.15 a.m., 9"i 4 p.m. For Auckla , and North daily, at 8 a.m. «nd Tuesdays and Fridays at 5 p.ai, F*r Wanganui and intermediate offices at 6.15 a.m., 9 a.m., 11.45 a.m., and 1 p.m. For New Plymouth and intermediate offices at 6.15 a-tn.. 10.3 n a.m.. 130 D.m., and 5 p.m.* TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 22. Parcel mail for Expeditionary Forces, Egypt, at 5 p.m. WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 23. For Australian Stat-es, South Africa, Ceylon, India, China, Japan, Straits Settlements, Aden, Egypt, Eastern and Mediterranean ports, at 4 p.m. FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 25. For Tasmania, via Wellington, at 9 am. Each article posted, except newspapers, must bear id additions' pu.-ijige as war tax, otherwise correspondence will be taxed one penny. N.B.—Mails sent via Suez are subject to heavy delay, and under ordinary circumstances arrive in London later than mails despatched from New >dland by the next Vancouver or San Francisco ateamer. Only specially-addressed correspondence is now' sent via Suez. Mails will be despatched as opportunity oSers to tlie United Kingdom and Continents . ;; ef Europe and America.
