ALL-FOR-EMPIRE LEAGUE.

WELLINGTON, Feb. 18. The tone of the meeting held at the Commercial Travellers' Club to-day was intensely Imperial, and as an outcome an "All-for-Empire League" was formed. A resolution carried was as follows: "That this meeting of members of the Wellington Commercial Travellers' Association cordially endorses the action taken by the delegates at the conference of the United Travellers and Warehousemen's Association, held at Christchurch on February 10, and approves of the formation of an All-for-Empire League as outlined in the Empire leaflet No. 1, feeling siire that it is in the best interests of the country and the Empire. It will necessitate the elimination of enemy trade and influence from our midst, and this meeting pledges itself to use every possible endeavor in furthering the objects of the League, and undertakes heartily to support any representative committee that may be •set up to take charge of the movement."
