Subject to necessary alterations, mails close at the Post Office as under :— For Wellington and South dally, tt I a.m., 11.45 a.m., and 4 p.m. For Auckland and North daily, at 0 a.m. and Tuesdays and Fridays at 6 p.m. For Wanganui and intermediate offices at 6.16 a.m., 9 a.m.. 11.45 a.m., and 4 p.m. for New Plymouth and intermediate offices at 6.15 a.m.. 10.30 a.m.. 1.10 p.m., and 5 p.m. SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 11. For Australian States, South Africa, East Indies and Straits Settlements, via Auckland, at 9 a.m. N.B.—Mails sent vi& Sueis art .subject to heavy delay, and under ordinary circumstances arrive In London later than mails despatched from New Zealand by the next Vancouver or San Francisco rteamer. Only specially-addressed correspondence is now sent via Suet. Mails will be despatched as opportunity oflerß to the United Kingdom and Continents ol Europe and America.
