She is being towed to Queenstown and twenty of the crew are remaining aboard. The vessel, which was tor.pedoel without warning, was struck near the bows and the two forward holds are full of water. The explosion injured twenty passengers and a number of the crew. A Canadian soldier, who had been blinded in France, entered a boat which capsized, and while swimming he discovered to his great joy that the shock had restored his eyesight.
