"WILL THEY NEVER COME?"

On Wednesday evening the first presentation at the Opera House of the great recruiting drama "Will They Never Come?" -will, take place. The following is a copy of a Tetter from the Minister ofv Defence with reference to the picture: "I have to thank you for. your kindly thought in asking me to view your motion picture entitled 'Will They Never Come?' I think the exhibition of the picture ought to impress upon those whose duty it is to enlist at this time, the necessity of complying with the demands of such duty. Recruiting has beep fairly satisfactory lately ; still we have to keep the spirit going until the end of the war, and I have no'doubt the lesson which is to be learned from your picture will help in this respect. Please note that unmarried men are desired as recruits. (Signed) J. Allen, Minister of Defence." j\s an additional hallmark of the picture's excellence it has been accorded the patronage of the Governor and the Countess of Liverpool, the Prime Minister, and the Minister of Defence. This film will be shown at the Opera House, Hawera, next Wednesday and Thursday, under tho patronage and in the presence of his Worship the Mayor and Borough Councillors, the chairman of the Patriotic Committee., and military officers.
