MEASLES AT TRENTHAM

WELLINGTON, June 17. At a result of the outbreak of the measles at Trentham camp, a number of men have been sent to the Wellington Hospital, which has been somewhat disorganised as a (result, and three of the cases have proved fatal. The matter was discussed by the Hospital Board to-day, and the Defence Department was criticised for commandeering the city hospital accommodation in such fi manner, one speakeT remarking that it looked as if the Defence Department had neglected its duty in not having proper hospital accommodation of its own at the camp. The Board decided to iirge the Government to make immediate provision for hospital accommodation at Trentham.
