SAVINGS BANK REGULATIONS RELAXED.

WELLINGTON, May 28. By Order-in-Council appearing in the Gazette it is provided that the limitation of amount of interest-bear-ing deposits in the Post Office Savings Bank as fixed by the Act shall not apply to deposits by the trustees of any fund approved by the Governor under section 2 of the War Contributions Validation Act, provided a copy of the conditions of control and expenditure of such deposits is forwarded to the Postmaster-General.
