AUCKLAND, May 28. A football ri.atch between a.team from theyTrenthaih? y camp and' the Auckland repi^sehtatives will take place here on June 5, in aid of the Belgian fund.,

The Auckland Farmers' Provincial Conference passed a resolution that in view of the hostile and bitter attitude many foreign countries have shown towards the British Empire during the war, the conference is strongly of ooinion that farmers' unions in New Zealand should energetically contend for preferential trade within the Empire and with our allies while they remain so.
