AUSTRALIAN-MADE AEROPLANES

As the result of. an announcement that the Federal Government is prepared to utilise locally made aeroplanes at the Point Cook Aviation bchool, a cumber of firms turned their attention to this new industry, and the outcome is that the first Australianmade biplane has been completed and will shortly be sV>en in flight, while sixother engines are on order. The chief difficulty is the necessity to import ■wood for the frameworks.
