A KITCHEN PARTY

A very enjoyable evening was spent here on Wednesday, when Miss Clarke entertained Alias Dora Holmes, who is shortly to be married, at a kitchen party. About forty -guests sat down to play euchre, which was won by A Petty and J. Sievewri-rht. 'Miss Jfciolmes was then called unon to open the many useful present's. Mr R Smith on behalf of Mis-s Holmes" thanked the guests f or the presents, also for their kindness genera Uv, and assured them of Miss Holmes' sincere appreciation. The party then had games and nrnsic until the early hours of the" morning.
