WELLINGTON, May 26. Owing to the introduction of the Saturday half-holiday the Mid-week Hockey Association played its final ctame to-day. The association has been m existence for tan years. Most of its players are now throwing in their lot with the Saturday Association by entering two teams in the junior competition, while others, are individually joining Saturday clubs. Petone has won the mid-week cup for the fifth year.
