DELAY' IN FORWARDING FATALITY LISTS.
( tlXPt4NATldN^fftoM COLONIAL << - >\&fif&g^wY> , ' , WELLINGTON 1, May 2.. The Prime Minister ha& been advised that His Excellency the-Governor has received the following telegram from the Secretary of State for 'the Colonies, dated London, May 9^: — ' With reference to your'telegram of May 22nd there- certainly appears to have been unusual delay m forwarding from the seat of war to the base the list of killed of the rank and file. The base record office at .Alexandria reported to me on May Xsth that up to that date no list of killed of either the Australian or New Zealand contingents had yet been received. It is presumed that conI tinuous fighting, has made the preparal tion of accurate jists impossible. but! I am giving instructions that a full enquiry snail be made into the matter. ;
