'Official.—After suspending a Cossack upside down during operations on the Narew front, the Germans cut off his ears and made deep cuts in his thigh for. refusing to give information.
Another soldier was found near Shavli in a dying condition with. his ears and tongue cut off.
/ SOFIA, May 23. Tne Turks, needing military transport, seized a hundred Bulgarian railway trucks in Turkey, wihich were conveying goods to Bulgarian merchants. The Bulgarian Government has made representations to the Porte.
